Dr. Rapp Joins the Clinic at Riverside

July 8, 2016

Rusk County Memorial Hospital (RCMH) is excited to welcome Dr. Rick Rapp, D.O., to the Clinic at Riverside.

Dr. Rapp obtained his medical degree at Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center to become a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.), and completed his residency at Florida Hospital. As a primary care physician, Dr. Rapp focuses on the “whole person” and believes that every patient is a unique unit of body, mind and spirit. Dr. Rapp cares for patients of all ages.

Dr. Rapp practices neuromusculoskeletal medicine which involves manipulation or adjustment of bones, ligaments, muscles and tendons. He takes a hands-on approach to disease and often uses physical therapy in his care of patients. Dr. Rapp also has a special interest in occupational medicine and helping people recover from injury.

“My wife, Katrina, and I chose Ladysmith because we were looking for a place to put down roots, raise our 3 kids, and be a part of a real community that cares for each other,” says Dr. Rapp. “We are looking forward to engaging in an abundance of outdoor activities in the north woods, being involved in church and being a part of the community.”

“I am committed to the mission of Rusk County Memorial Hospital,” says Dr. Rapp. “I’m proud to be a part of this team that provides so many opportunities to impact the community for the better.”
