On October 13, American Hospital Association (AHA) regional executive, Kim Byas Sr., PhD, MPH, FACHE, presented a 50-year membership award to Rusk County Memorial Hospital’s (RCMH) Chief Executive Officer, Charisse Oland. A plaque was given in recognition of RCMH belonging to the association since 1966.
AHA is a national organization that represents and services hospitals, healthcare networks and their patients and communities through advocacy activities. They seek to promote quality healthcare through public policy and health education. AHA honored RCMH for its continuous membership and leadership in advancing the quality and safety of the health in their local communities.
