Rusk County Memorial Hospital Hosts ‘Bowling for Bucks’

On Saturday, January 27, Rusk County Memorial Hospital & Clinic at Riverside (RCMH) invites the public to join them for a fun afternoon of ‘Bowling for Bucks’. This event, held at West Cove Lanes in Ladysmith, will begin at 3:00 pm. The cost to participate is $15 per person and includes shoe rental and three games. Raffles will be held throughout the event. Registration is not required; however participation is limited to 60 bowlers. Proceeds from this event will benefit Rusk County Embrace.


Since 1980, Embrace, formerly the TimeOut Shelter, has been providing safe shelter and services to survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault in the tri-county area of Rusk, Washburn and Price Counties. They provide outreach and community awareness efforts, preventative education, safe shelter, 24/7 crisis support and a variety of comprehensive and sensitive direct services to help survivors navigate the systems. Ultimately, Embrace’s goal is to inspire social change and eradicate violence. Embrace envisions a courageous social change taking place ending all forms of oppression and violence and creating healthy communities where every person has the support to thrive.
