Cardiac Rehabilitation

Rusk County Memorial Hospital offers a cardiac rehabilitation program that uses education and exercise to improve your quality of life and reduce your risk of future cardiac events.

Our skilled team provides individualized care for those who have experienced a heart attack, valve replacement, angioplasty, coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG) or angina. Sessions are available by physician referral.

Common Conditions:

  • Angina
  • Angioplasty with or without stent placement
  • Coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG)
  • Heart attack
  • Heart failure
  • Valve replacement

Treatment Options:

  • Monitored Exercise Program (MEP)
    • Available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00am - 10:00 am and 1:00pm - 2:00pm. 
  • Health Education
