Occupational Therapy

Rusk County Memorial Hospital’s occupational therapists use a client-centered approach to help seniors, adults and children increase their ability to perform daily tasks or skills for their jobs.

Individualized treatment is provided for patients who have sustained injury, illness or developmental disabilities that require assistance. Treatment is offered for patients who have suffered from strokes, motor-vehicle accidents, work-related injuries, brain injuries and a variety of other conditions.

Occupational Therapy Services We Offer:

  • Driving safety evaluations
  • Energy conservation training
  • Ergonomic assessments and worksite evaluations
  • Home safety evaluations
  • Lymphedema therapy
  • Motor, coordination and strength assessments
  • Sensory integration
  • Stress management evaluations

Free 15 - 30 minute screenings are available to determine a need for occupational therapy services. If services are recommended, an order from the patient's primary care provider will be pursued.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm

Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 am – 4:30 pm
